Why Do Christians Pray to God?
Prayer is central to Christian life, yet it is often misunderstood. The Bible does not present prayer as a ritual meant to impress God or a technique for manipulating outcomes. Scripture presents prayer as communication between God and His people, grounded in relationship and trust.
Christians pray because God has revealed Himself as personal, attentive, and sovereign. Prayer reflects dependence upon God and alignment with His will.
1) Prayer as Communication With God
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
